Getting Un-Stuck

Most people don’t feel completely lost — they feel stuck.
Stuck in their head.
Stuck in indecision.
Stuck repeating the same patterns.
Or stuck knowing something needs to change, but not doing anything about it.

This page isn’t about big breakthroughs.
It’s about simple ways to get moving again.

1. Start with what’s actually going on

Before trying to fix anything, get clear on the situation.

Ask yourself:

  • What exactly feels off right now?
  • Is this a decision I’m avoiding, or something I’m not dealing with?
  • What am I hoping will happen if I do nothing?

Write it down if you can.

Clarity removes a lot of unnecessary pressure.

2. Stop trying to solve everything at once

One of the biggest reasons people stay stuck is trying to fix their whole life in one move.

Instead:

  • narrow it down
  • pick one issue
  • ignore the rest for now

Progress comes from small, clear steps — not big, overwhelming ones.

3. Make a decision — even if it’s not perfect

Indecision is often worse than a wrong decision.

You don’t need certainty.
You need movement.

Ask:

  • What’s the simplest next step I could take?
  • If I had to decide today, what would I choose?

Then act on that.
You can adjust later.

4. Get out of your head

Thinking has a place — but too much of it keeps you stuck.

Useful ways to reset:

  • go for a walk
  • spend time outdoors
  • talk things through with someone
  • do something physical

Clarity often comes after movement, not before it.

5. Be honest about avoidance

Most people know what they need to do.
They just:

  • delay it
  • soften it
  • distract themselves from it

Ask yourself:

  • What am I avoiding right now?
  • What would happen if I actually dealt with it?

Even a small step toward that thing can shift everything.

6. Build simple structure

When life feels loose, everything feels harder.

Start small:

  • consistent sleep/wake times
  • regular meals
  • a bit of movement each day
  • one or two clear priorities

You don’t need a perfect routine — just enough structure to stabilise things.

7. Talk it through

Sometimes you don’t need answers — you need clarity.

Talking things through with the right person can:

  • simplify the situation
  • challenge your thinking
  • help you decide what actually matters

If you’re still stuck

That’s where a structured conversation can help.

If you’d like to talk things through properly, you can book an initial consultation where we:

  • look at what’s going on
  • identify where you’re stuck
  • work out a practical way forward

Process

Keeping it Simple

Get in touch

If you’d like to make an enquiry, please send an email with a brief outline of what’s going on.

I generally respond via email first, and we can arrange a call if needed.

practical support

If further support is useful, we can continue working together in a simple, structured way.

Sessions focus on staying on track, working through challenges, and taking practical steps forward — without overcomplicating things.

Support is there if needed, but the aim is always to help you move forward independently.

clear direction

We take the time to properly understand what’s going on and what you’re trying to work through.

From there, the focus is on gaining clarity, cutting through the noise, and identifying a direction that makes sense for your situation.
