About Scott
Scott’s journey is one rooted in resilience, a deep connection to nature, and a passion for helping others lead more fulfilling lives. Growing up in the rural farming heartland of Tasmania, he was immersed in a culture of hard work, practical skills, and a deep respect for the land. His parents and grandparents, who were small business owners and hardworking individuals in various fields, instilled in him values of perseverance, resourcefulness, and a genuine connection to both people and the environment. These early influences shaped his path and guided him through a diverse and successful career.

From an early age, Scott understood the importance of hard work, but also of balance. His upbringing in the Tasmanian countryside gave him a unique perspective on life. He experienced firsthand the rewards of rural living, but also the challenges, especially after a family tragedy led to a move closer to more populated areas. It was here that Scott’s journey truly began to take shape, balancing his personal experiences with a deep sense of curiosity about life and what it had to offer.
Over the years, Scott has embraced a variety of careers—each one contributing to his rich background of experience. He has worked in retail, management, hospitality, tourism, accounting, consulting, and even the motor industry. This wide-ranging career trajectory has given him a broad skill set, but more importantly, it has allowed him to understand the diverse needs of individuals and businesses alike.
Scott’s true passion, however, lies in helping others achieve greater personal fulfillment and success. This led him to establish two business ventures that reflect his love for both personal development and the outdoors: “All Round Guide,” where he offers consulting services to help people find balance in their personal and professional lives, and “Tasmania Fly Fishing,” where he takes people on guided fly fishing tours, sharing his love of nature and the meditative art of fishing.
Scott’s qualifications reflect his commitment to both practical business skills and personal growth. He holds an Advanced Diploma of Business (Accounting), is a Certified NLP Practitioner and Coach, a Certified Workplace Trainer and Teacher, and has earned a Small Business Management Certification. He is a proud member of the NLP Association of Australia, the Institute of Leaders and Managers, and the International Institute of Complimentary Therapists.
While Scott’s career has been diverse, it has also been a journey of self-discovery, overcoming personal challenges, and honing the skills needed to help others navigate their own. Like many of us, Scott has faced relationship difficulties, personal setbacks, and moments of self-doubt. However, he has always embraced life with determination and an unshakeable belief in the power of perseverance. His personal motto, “Life, get into it, not out of it,” encapsulates his approach to life: embrace every experience, learn from it, and move forward.
In addition to his professional qualifications, Scott is deeply invested in personal therapy, life coaching, and counselling. His approach combines the lessons learned from his varied career, his qualifications in personal development, and his love for the natural world. Whether he’s helping a client discover their true potential or guiding someone on a peaceful fly fishing excursion, Scott’s ultimate goal is to empower others to live with purpose, clarity, and fulfilment.
When he’s not working, Scott cherishes time spent with his children, loved ones, and the outdoors. Whether it’s casting a line into the pristine waters of Tasmania or simply enjoying the beauty of nature, Scott believes in living life to the fullest and helping others do the same.
